QFC: Liberty lunch lifesaver

Olivia Briggs, Editorial Board Member

POV: You’re in seventh period. There’s still an hour until third lunch. You would have been dozing off from the lack of sleep you got last night, but your stomach is growling loud enough to replace your morning alarm.

You forgot your lunch.

Eyes widen in distress, stomach persistent for the PB&J sandwich sitting sadly, lonely, on your kitchen counter.

Luckily, Liberty is just perfectly located for the student who forgot their food. QFC has been our savior. QFC is just close enough for any student with an off-campus pass to drive to, grab a sushi platter or a pre-made sandwich, and run back to campus for the next class.

Their selection spans past the pre-packaged meals too; tables with stacks of cookies and donuts for the sugar-craving soul, a nearby fridge selling any kind of energy drink you want. There’s even a Starbucks inside the store where you can buy a breakfast sandwich (although it’s already 1 p.m.) and pay for your Papillon Monster (especially helpful when that gift card is all the money you have. Not that I would know from experience).

All in all, QFC is a 10/10 experience—the rush, the taste, the bonding moment when you and all your friends are stuffed in a car late for class…anyways, QFC, thank you.
