Final ball drops on successful season

During a KingCo match freshman Ethan Le winds up to return a ball from Bellevue’s number two.   The men’s tennis team went on to lose against Bellevue which left the team hungry to defeat Mt. Si in their season finale.

“The coaches and captains really kept us going. Without them we wouldn’t be as motivated as a team,” Le said.

The current record after winning their rematch with Mt. Si is 3-3 with the losses coming from Bellevue, Mt. Si and Interlake. The team’s victories came over Juanita, with a 5-2 win, and a close win against Sammamish, 4-3. The Patriots finished the season with a dominating, 6-1, win over Mt. Si to finish their season 4th in KingCo.
