“People seem to be liking the treats. Fresh-baked items are always popular. Also, I have never seen the coffee cart so busy. It’s almost like we’re too small for how busy we are.”

“Our grilled cheese is very popular. It’s kind of our staple dish. Our smoothies are good as well. The strawberry is one of the most bought flavors.”

Q: What’s your favorite part of your store?

L’Cafe:

“The menu is good, and it changes every week, so you can always come try something new.

“[DECA Teacher Chris Gapinski] really teaches you how to self-star. It’s really nice. I think it can get really stressful too, though.”

Q: What makes your store special?

L’Cafe:

“I love the energy of a kitchen. I love that stress and chaos. I also think it’s important to note that almost everything created does come from the students. It’s their ideas or their recipes or their choices.”

“What makes the store special is that it’s run by… the DECA students, who are trying to gain exposure to the operations of a business.”
