“There are many people at Liberty who speak Spanish, and we are creating a safe space for them as well as a place to learn Spanish and more about Latin cultures. We have themed foods for our meetings, such as pan de muerto that was decorated at our last meeting.”

“We’re creating a community where people can learn more about Chinese history and traditions. Our club is a relaxed place and we play fun Chinese games, celebrate Chinese holidays, and give out traditional food.”

“We help children in hospitals who don’t have the opportunity to make crafts, and this year we hope to donate various art projects to children that are hospitalized.”

“I wanted to start a club where people can express their feelings freely. Our purpose is to promote and uphold limited government and constitutional rights throughout campus.”

“After being involved in Influence the Choice beyond the school, I wanted to bring it to Liberty to create a larger impact and allow the organization to thrive. We’re here to create a more positive environment at Liberty, especially regarding sensitive or heavy topics like drugs and alcoho, where students can make informed decisions.”

“Film Club is about allowing students to watch, analyze, and create films of different styles and varieties. We want to, by the end of the year, either enter in a film festival or have our own Liberty Film Festival.”

“Mock Trial provides opportunities to practice debate skills. You can ‘play pretend’ and be in a real court case! Our mission is to help students gain strong public speaking, critical thinking, and legal reasoning skills. We aim to create a positive environment where everyone can learn and have fun.”

“After playing music in guitar class, lunches, and open mic nights, we wanted to keep that going on. Our purpose is to provide a stage for anyone interested in music to perform at open mic, assemblies, or lunches.”

Racket Club (Commons – every Friday)
“We merged badminton and ping pong clubs to bring more variety to Liberty. We’re trying to spread the joy we get from playing racket sports, like badminton, pickleball, or ping pong. We’ve almost doubled the amount of equipment we have in the last two weeks.”

Vietnamese Student Association (Room 5102 – every other Thursday)
“VSA was created to celebrate Vietnamese culture and build a space where students can connect, learn, and feel represented. We’re sharing traditions we’re proud of and strengthening our school’s cultural community. Our goals are to host cultural events, fundraise for education of underprivileged students in Vietnam, volunteer at Hồng Bàng Vietnamese School, and bring students together. VSA is open to anyone!”
