Liberty Patriots march into the Salmon Days Parade

Matthew Rubenstein, Online Editor

This year’s Salmon Days parade is right around the corner! Coming to you October 6th, the parade features various Liberty groups, including the marching band, the drill team, and the cheer team. ROTC and Key Club will also be volunteering at the parade.
The Liberty marching band will be playing Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” “Want You Back,” and a drum cadence during the parade. ROTC will be helping with parade security not only directing the parade but keeping order and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Meanwhile, Key Club will be participating in Salmon Days through the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah. The Kiwanis Club is having a Salmon Days BBQ fundraiser, and Key Club is helping them to prepare food to sell in the fundraiser.
The Salmon Days Parade starts at 10 am at Front & Dogwood, and it will end at 12th Avenue.
