It isn’t all robberies, drug tests, and handcuffs for school resource officer Deputy Dave Montalvo. In October, Montalvo notified senior Sarah Bliesner that her car had been broken into. Anxious and confused, she rushed out to the parking lot, escorted by Montalvo. But when they reached her car, instead of finding a broken window, Bliesner was greeted by a Homecoming proposal as Montalvo broke out laughing. Helping to ask students to dances in situations like this is just one of the many roles Montalvo plays in the Liberty community.
