Thanks Mrs. Jones

For the majority of people throughout Liberty, this wonderful woman as Educational Assistant Mrs. Jones, but to me she is Aunt Kathy.

Kathy Jones does so much to contribute throughout Liberty, and she does not receive enough credit for her many roles. She wears so many hats throughout the day, and even into afterschool activities.

The first is her role as a dedicated Guided Study teacher. She teaches and observes two classes of guided study a day, and is always greeting her classes with respect and a smile. As a former member of her class, I can say first hand that she follows her instructions as a teacher and creates an enjoyable but a strict environment.

Another role she plays is the cooking and culinary assistant. She is always there to help the students that may need extra help in the kitchen, or just following the necessary instructions. No matter what she is always there, and her work is appreciated by the students.

She also assists in the many afterschool activities, like volunteering for DECA trips and competitions, as well as checking for ASB cards and money at the beginning of athletic games. Her assistance is very generous and these activities would not to happen without her volunteering.

These are only some examples of the delightful things that Kathy Jones does behind the scenes. Without all of the help that she gives, Liberty would not be the same. Next time you see Mrs. Jones, or my Aunt Kathy, doing one of her many tasks, tell her thank you for all of the work she has done throughout her many years as a Liberty Patriot.
