Allyson Mangus win the 2021 Science department medallion awarded by Erin Stephens.

“Allyson has consistently challenged herself in science. She took Chemistry, AP Chemistry, AP Biology and Honors Physics. She is curious, works with everyone so well and asks questions that indicate that she is not just learning. Allyson is an exquisite problem solver and was a top Honors Physics students in recent years. Allyson consistently medals in her events of Chem Lab and Code Analysis during competitions for Science Olympiad. As the current Vice President of the Liberty Science Olympiad club, she continues to support current and new members, as they prepare to compete in the state competition for the first time in two years. She is an outstanding ambassador for science at Liberty and in the community at large.”
