Campus Conservatism

As we look around campus and see all that our student government has done, we have to exercise a critical eye and see all the problems that our government has. For instance, take the creation and distribution of Senior Sweats. A fine product, to be sure, but is that really what our government should be doing? Student Government’s job, according to our founding documents (The Student Handbook), is to ensure life, Liberty (Go Patriots), and the pursuit of happiness. Based on this definition, these sweats are a broad overreach of our government. Plus, we should be supporting our small businesses and buying DECA Spirit Shack wear anyways…
