Gains Kid

It’s 4:30 AM, and you’re at the gym. By 5:00, you’re already halfway through your set. Squats, pull-ups, push-ups, bench. No pain, no gain. Time to get swoll.
At breakfast, you prepare a protein shake. Using grit, you carefully try to measure your protein powder before dumping it in the cup, but you get too lazy and end up dumping in the whole bottle. What’s the difference between a half a cup and the whole container anyways?
Before you head out, you fill up your gallon of water. When you’re trying to get yoked, it’s essential to drink at least four gallons a day, even if it means needing to pee during your chemistry test.
When you’re done getting those academic gains, you can’t believe you’ve only been to the gym once today, so you head back to get your twenty pack back to the twenty-two pack you managed to get last summer.
When in the gym, you push yourself to the breaking point using grit. The only thing on your mind is grit. It’s not a word, it’s a lifestyle. Put 110% into everything you do, whether that’s showing off in the gym or in the classroom. And don’t worry: if the whole school-thing doesn’t work out, you’ll always have your dream of moving grand pianos into apartments to fall back on.
The world is based on two things: what will get you more gains and what will slow you down from getting gains. You have a vision and a goal and nothing will get in your way of accomplishing them.
Gains kid, you’re one of us.
