Humans of Liberty: Helen Le (12)

“During my freshman and sophomore years, I jumped around from club to club a lot. Robotics was the one that stuck. I’ve been in robotics for three years, and this year, I’m the president. In the past three months, I’ve put in almost 300 hours of work, but it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve gotten to mentor the First Lego League, which is robotics for elementary schoolers, mentor a Unified robotics team, and be part of starting a middle school team as well. Robotics has things to do for everyone of every skill level and interest. I want to have robotics as a part of my life in the future, too. The colleges that I’ve applied to have really good robotics programs that I hope to join. It’s my happy place.”
