Girls’ Soccer
Notable Results: “We played really well in our Crown Crest division, and ended up placing second, so we made it to State. In the first round of State we played hard against Eastside Catholic, but ended up losing 1-0,” junior Peyton Warns said.
Reflection + Looking Forward: “I think next year we’re going to be more motivated and hungry to win and get further in State, because I think we’re all super disappointed in how we goto ut. We’ll make sure to be more prepared, especially during away games – we lost three games and they were all away,” Warns said.
Girls’ Volleyball
Notable Results: “We finished second in KingCo and played several games at State before finishing fifth in the state,” junior Charlize Espinoza said.
Reflection + Looking Forward: “We finished the year off really strong, so I’m excited for next year. I think we understand now that not having tall players doesn’t mean that we can’t win games. We know to utilize each and every player, no matter the position, and no matter if they play club or don’t have experience,” Espinoza said.
Football
Notable Results: “We ended on a high note, winning two of our last three games. We made the playoffs and played O’Dea, who ended up winning State, so that was obviously a tough game that we lost,” junior Spencer Bogh said.
Reflection + Looking Forward: “We had a lot of underclassmen on the team this year, so moving forward, it’s going to be an awesome thing to see the progression. We learned to stay motivated – it got pretty hard to stay motivated with the losing record we had, but as a team we kept moving and that will carry over,” Bogh said.

Reflection + Looking Forward: “We’ve learned the importance of self-discipline, even though we’re consistently surrounded by diverse people that we become so close with – they’re what makes this sport worth it. This team aspect is something that will definitely push us forward next year,” Hu said.
