This season, the spring sports seniors or captains were asked questions to reveal more about themselves.

Track & Field – Talmage Noel (12):
Q: What is your unpopular opinion?
A: Personally, I think Chick-fil-A is overrated.
Q: What event do you refuse to run?
A: I refuse to run anything over 400 meters.
Tennis – Megan Le (11)
Q: Would you rather receive a bowling ball or a two-foot-wide water balloon?
A: A bowling ball. There’s the possibility that the water balloon would pop, and I don’t want to deal with that.
Q: If you had to choose one celebrity to play doubles with, who would you pick?
A: Doja Cat–just because I want to stand next to her.
Softball – Desi Arnaiz (11):
Q: Would you rather play in the North Pole or Sahara desert?
A: I’d rather play in the Sahara desert because I could actually play a game. In cold weather, you run the risk of breaking your bat, which can cost 300 to 400 dollars.
Q: Take this Buzzfeed quiz which will tell you which “Beauty and the Beast” character you are. Do you agree with the answer, why or why not?
A: Gaston. I don’t think this is accurate because Gaston is a brooding jerk in the movie, and I don’t think I am a brooding jerk. But I am also competitive like Gaston and social (if you would consider Gaston social), so in that sense we are similar.
Boys Soccer – Evan Wellerstein (12):
Q: If you could choose one teammate to beat in a game of Super Smash Bros, which teammate would you choose and why?
A: I would choose sophomore Kellan Kobata because it would be a rivalry game filled with playful smack talk.
Q: If you couldn’t play your spring sport, what other spring sport would you choose to play and why?
A: I would play baseball because I played baseball when I was younger, which is filled with good memories.
Baseball – Kaden Alberghini (12)
Q: If you could choose a holiday mascot to add as your team, who would you choose and why?
A: Santa Claus because he could provide a Christmas miracle.
Q: Please state your dream meal in the next 30 seconds.
A: I want homemade beef stroganoff, pizza, and Italian wedding cake.
Golf – Kylie McGrath (10):
Q: If you couldn’t use any of your golf clubs, what would you use as a replacement?
A: I would use a tennis racket. I think I could putt well but at the same time hit far.
Q: If you had to choose someone at Liberty (who’s not on the team) to be your partner in golf, who would you choose?
