Girls swim and dive
September 29, 2019
With a grand total of thirty-five new swimmers, the girls swim and dive team is much different from last year, but this increase in swimmers is not necessarily a bad thing.
“It’s crazy,” senior co-captain Lauren Klatt said. “It’s nice, though, just to see some new faces after having been with the same people for the past four years.”
More swimmers also means more depth.
“We have a lot of swimmers who have done summer league, and some who have been on club teams, so we have a variety of swim levels,” senior co-captain Allison Peschek said. “So far, all of the freshmen have been doing very well.”
With so many new members, the team is focusing on sportsmanship and teamwork, and is going forth into the season with high hopes and confidence.
