Despite initially facing some problems, boy’s tennis played well in the postseason with four players moving onto State in the spring. On the first try at Districts, the tournament players rode the bus all the way to Bellingham before being turned around due to rain and court conditions. A few days later, back on the bus to Bellingham they went for try two of the tournament where Coach Mike Salokas’ efforts to have the team seeded paid off. Seeded number one, the first doubles team consisting of Marco Sobrino and Bryan Le, won the doubles tournament. Calvin and Colby Vuong, who were also seeded, placed third in the tournament. Other key players this season included Connor Hunt and Cade Hughes.
