After a demanding final inning rally against the staff team, student team “The Dirtbags” claimed the title of Reigning Champions in Liberty’s Third Annual World Series of Wiffle Ball. Senior team members Michael Heath, Tyler Moczulewski, Dylan Anderson, Curtis Boydston, and Ryan Graham shown above celebrated their success with a champions photo.

“The Dirtbags all-around had one good hitter after another and there really wasn’t one guy that did all their work for them. They were all pretty tough. Tyler Moczulewski is a very good pitcher. He was tough to hit,” Ping Pong Club advisor Henry Level said. The event was hosted by the Ping Pong club on November 13 to raise money for their club. In total, the Ping Pong Club raised $100 and Level hopes to hold another contest this spring due to the success.
