During Emily Linke’s Dance Aerobics and Yoga class, juniors Michelle Blue and Sara Norwood, pose in one of their usual yoga moves working their lower backs and abs. The Dance Aerobics and Yoga class was newly created this year by Linke for sophomores, juniors and seniors. The class splits its time between Zumba and yoga. But Linke shakes up the usual routine by offering a variety of activities to do. The students occasionally do partner yoga, yoga games and even create their own Zumba dance that they perform in front of the class. “I was so excited when I heard that Liberty was offering a Zumba and yoga class and I’m so glad that I signed up for it. The class is really fun and everyone is really easy-going. More people should take this class,” Blue said.
