Eight periods are better than six

Patriots rejoice! Although many people are quick to criticize the A/B schedule with eight classes a year, it actually provides a distinct advantage to us students. Yes, it can be overwhelming at times, but the benefits far outweigh the costs. It gives us a chance to explore our interests through more electives, without having to compromise core classes and graduation requirements. And when it comes to college admissions, it puts us ahead of the rest because we have more chances to challenge ourselves and receive more credits. Another added benefit is that the classes are every other day, mimicking a college schedule, which not only sets us up for the future but also allows an extra day to finish homework. The next time you start to complain about your homework load, remember that your hard work will pay off and your schedule sets you apart from the rest!
