Snow ≠ Shorts
December 15, 2017
It’s December, and we all know what that means: sweater weather. Or, that’s how it should be. When your car door won’t close because the mechanism is frozen, people usually take the hint and dress for cold weather. They wear gloves, hats, scarves, coats—and most important: pants. Recently, it’s become the popular trend to wear shorts in the midst of forty degree weather, but why would anyone suffer through the cold just to wear shorts? Shorts are designed for warm weather, when the legs can handle bare exposure. But the time of showing off calves has passed, and it’s important to bundle up and keep your body at a healthy temperature. Not to mention, it’s cringey to watch others trudge through the snow and rain with bare legs. No pair of legs is smooth or toned enough to risk your health. So, please, for your well-being and our sanity, wrap those legs up this winter!
