In the middle of a long, boring class, you glance at the clock. It’s 2:15 p.m. Almost time to go home. You begin to pack up. Then your friend says, “What are you doing? School ends at 3:35. It’s a Wednesday.” You groan; you have more than a hour left until you can go home. And then, you realize you also have sports practice after school, which will leave you physically and emotionally drained. Plus, you have tons of homework, courtesy of your kind teachers who all decided to give you loads of it on the same day. You know that you will be up until one a.m. trying to finish all your homework. You sigh and proceed to cry in the middle of class. Happy hump day!
