Making the move to Edgebrook

Since the beginning of December, the men’s swim and dive team has been practicing at an outdoor pool in Bellevue due to the closure of the pool in Issaquah. The move to the outdoor pool has subjected the team and its coaches to sub-zero temperatures and overall discomfort. “Though this clearly undesirable, we are really just glad to still have a pool to practice in,” Captain Joel Tinseth said. “We’re just going to have to continue to train hard and remain optimistic throughout the season.” The team has been training hard for their first home meet on December 4, which starts at 8:30 PM in Mercer Island as a result of having no pool to call home.
