Art club paints rocks for students to discover

From drawing to painting and everything in between, there is certainly something for everyone at Art Club. The club does a variety of activities on a weekly basis, like drawing challenges and art for the bulletin board. For Halloween, members painted plastic pumpkins to spice them up and add their own unique spin to the classic fall activity of pumpkin decorating. Also in October, artists drew in ink for “Inktober”, responding to different prompts and posting their creations to social media.
Club members even painted rocks and hid them around the building.
“We might paint more rocks next time. If you see a painted rock anywhere around school, take a picture of it and tag us on Instagram. There are instructions on our Instagram for what to do if you find a rock,” senior club president Kaliah Antin said.
