Cookie Recipe
While everyone is at home, here’s a chocolate chip cookie recipe you can try!

Ingredients
1 cup room temperature butter (2 sticks)
½ cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips (or as much as you want)
Instructions
- Wash your hands!
- Preheat oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit
- Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Cream butter and sugars together in another bowl until light and fluffy
- Beat in one egg at time, making sure the first egg is incorporated before adding the second
- Add the dry ingredients and mix
- Add chocolate chips and mix
- Scoop 1-2 tablespoon sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet*
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool for five minutes on the baking tray.
*Any extra dough can be frozen and baked at a later date.
