On March 20, 19 students from the Intro to Engineering class went on a field trip to the Puget Sound Job Shadow Day at Boeing in Renton. While there for the day, students were shown and practiced physics demonstrations, toured the 737 moving assembly line, learned about the new LEAN program, and heard from motivational speakers. Students were also introduced into possible Boeing internships and job opportunities for the future. “It is great for students to get out and experience the real world, and see how many real opportunities there are,” Career Specialist Judy Co said.
