Boys soccer falls short in state cup

The boys soccer team finished its season with an overall record of 5-9-4, ranking 6th in the KingCo League. As the season continued to progress, the team was able to support and push each other to get the results they had worked for. “Davis Noblat and Michael Daly were well-deserving of their 1st  team accomplishment and as a whole the team was great this year,” said varsity coach Darren Tremblay. “They were competitive every game and their commitment was excellent. It was a great group of players on and off the field.” After advancing to State in Vancouver, the boys lost in a brutal and physical match against Ridgefield HS; the team took a crushing 2-1 defeat, knocking them out of state contention.  “This season is definitely one to remember. I had hoped that we could have gone farther in state but the team we played just finished better than we did,” Kooiker said.
