“If I could change one thing about myself, I wish that I could be more kind and be there for everyone. I would be more patient with people, and that I was able to be a role model. I would also be the biggest servant that I could. I would tell myself if I could go back in time to just breathe and be yourself, and know that kindness is really everything and that if you are kind, that is really all that matters and you have done your part. Being adopted is one of my favorite life experiences. I was adopted into a family of 8. I love my parents and I love my siblings. My favorite life experience is being able to wake up to them everyday and being able to hang out and call them my family. I would not be going on today without my parents. I wouldn’t have the opportunities or motivation to be the person I am today if it hadn’t been for the opportunity that I was given and being given a new family. Seeing other people happy makes me happy. It makes me happy to see other people finding joy in their talents, and it makes me happy to be able to do something for someone else that brings them a smile. That just gives me a purpose to wake up every morning.”
